Job description
In 2008, CBED became the world’s first shipowning company offering dedicated services to the offshore wind industry. Over the years, the gained experiences have formed into the walk-to-walk vessel, Wind Innovation and we are expanding our fleet from next year. Therefore, we would also like to expand the team with a Senior Operator to take the operational responsibility of the fleet. The calendar for 2024 is already full of interesting projects, so you can look forward to a very exiting next year. 

You will join a team with different areas of responsibilities in general management, IT, HSEQ, crewing, operations and technical management, and you all work closely together with the stakeholders both onshore and offshore to give the best possible experience to our customers. We have fun every day, also during ‘heavy seas’, and we celebrate our successes together. Thus, it is important that you like to work independently, have team spirit, take pride in the vessels being ready on time – and maybe you can bring a new fun fact to the team?

We are based in our sister company Monjasa’s office building and here you can experience the great atmosphere from an open office setup, nice facilities, welcoming colleagues and enjoy a game of bowling.

You can look forward to some travel activities, mainly within Northern Europe, and to be part of a dynamic environment that can cause flexible working hours to ensure a smooth and stable operation of the fleet. 

Areas of focus

  • Daily operation of the fleet
  • Point of contact with suppliers and crew onboard, e.g. daily meetings with Captains, Hotel Managers and Chief Cooks
  • Coordinate the total supply chain, e.g. supplies, spare parts and fuel, and assist with purchasing across departments onboard
  • Coordinate port calls to ensure efficiency and attend vessels on port calls
  • Optimise and develop existing processes and systems
  • Review noon/monthly reports and client feedback

Your professional skills

  • A relevant maritime or logistics education, e.g. in shipping
  • 5+ years of experience within the maritime or logistics industry
  • Fluent in written and verbal Danish and English 

Your personal skills

  • Structured work approach and naturally take ownership of tasks
  • Good at building relations and with a commercial understanding
  • Situational awareness and able to stay focused in a dynamic environment
