We are seeking a talented and experienced SCD to join our dynamic global team based in our HQ in  Hedensted, Denmark.  As the future SCD you will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives and leading the transformation of our supply chain processes as we embark on a digital transformation. This role requires a strong leader with a strategic mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage a diverse team. The SCD will be responsible for procurement, quality, logistics, and operations, and work closely together with sales and the divisions, to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products across the global supply chain. 


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy integrating digital technologies and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely project and product delivery globally. 
  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, inventory management, procurement, logistics, and distribution, utilizing digital tools and automation for improved performance. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives and drive operational excellence.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives leveraging digital technologies and lean principles to boost supply chain performance, streamline processes, and foster innovation.
  • Drive supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performance. 
  • Implement robust processes and systems, leveraging data analytics and technology, to monitor and manage supply chain risks, including demand volatility and disruptions.

The supply chain consists of 70 employees divided into procurement, production planning, master data, supplier quality, PTA, warehouse, logistics, and assembly. There are two managers in the team who report to the Supply Chain Director and oversee the smooth operation of the supply chain.

Hard Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience from a similar position.
  • Profound understanding of global supply chain management principles and best practices in project organizations.
  • Proficiency in change management strategies and techniques, essential for driving transformational initiatives and ensuring organizational readiness within the supply chain.
  • Analytical prowess to interpret data, recognize trends, and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Project management proficiency to implement process enhancements and change initiatives.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in a global Project or Manufacturing environment, with a focus on digital transformation initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices, including demand forecasting, production planning, and optimization, with a keen understanding of how digital technologies can drive transformation.
  • Experience in implementing supply chain technologies and data analytics tools to drive process efficiencies, gain insights, and support decision-making in a digital environment
