You will play an important role in:
The maritime industry is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by new regulations and the urgent need to reduce emissions. At Everllence, we are committed to supporting this transition in line with the IMO’s 2050 targets. We offer pioneering technologies that contribute to a carbon-neutral future in the maritime sector.
You will join our Marine Project Engineering team and take responsibility for our CEAS platform, which delivers essential engine and system data to shipyards, designers, engine builders and other stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the department’s lead specialist in onboard systems and CEAS capacity data.
  • Coordinating and prioritizing daily tasks in collaboration with three engineers and two software developers.
  • Supporting the development and market introduction of new technologies such as e.g. engine-assisted air lubrication and waste heat recovery systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, structure, and translate marine engine and auxiliary system knowledge into implementable software logic.
  • Provide technical advice on system optimization and participate in internal and external studies on potential emerging technologies.
  • Respond to technical inquiries from shipyards, design institutes, shipping companies, and licensees.
  • Assist colleagues in making their expertise “programmable” by helping create input models for our data platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and test new implementations in collaboration with our software developers.
  • Travel up to 20 days per year, primarily to shipyards in Southeast Asia and equipment manufacturers in Europe.

We imagine that you have:
We welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds. What matters most is your curiosity and your ability to work as a generalist, integrating components and solutions into cohesive systems — both physically and digitally.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • A degree in mechanical engineering, energy engineering, naval architecture, marine engineering (with sailing and onshore experience), or similar.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the maritime industry or a comparable role in another field.
  • A strong interest in two-stroke engine processes and their interaction with onboard energy systems.
  • A desire to work with exhaust gas technologies and emission reduction solutions.

It’s a plus if you:

  • Have knowledge of onboard auxiliary systems such as steam generation, cooling, or waste heat recovery.
  • Are comfortable working with software logic and data modeling (no coding required).
  • Have an interest in understanding our software landscape and processes.

Welcome to the Marine Project Engineering
Marine Project Engineering is responsible for collaborating with shipyards, engine builders, and other stakeholders on engine selection, fuel type selection, and shipboard system optimization. You will be an addition to a team of eight engineers and naval architects, two software developers, one industrial PhD student, and two student assistants.

We work closely with designers of next-generation vessels to meet the latest environmental and commercial standards, as well as supporting retrofit projects and onboard system optimization.

What We Offer

  • A meaningful role contributing directly to the decarbonization of the maritime industry.
  • A dynamic team with high technical expertise and strong collaboration.
  • Freedom to shape your tasks and develop innovative solutions.
  • Opportunities for professional growth through training and development.
  • Flexible working conditions and modern office facilities in Copenhagen.
