Section II: Object
RFI Copenhagen Communte, SHOW
Public Transport Authority Movia and Ballerup Municipality are preparing a public tender regarding operation of 5 Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) on a Danish test site ‘Copenhagen Commute’. We are therefore requesting information from the market in order to prepare the optimal RFP.
Copenhagen Commute is situated in the business district ‘Lautrup’ near the city of Copenhagen.
The aim of Copenhagen Commute is to demonstrate a full-scale, high capacity and on demand AV feeder service, in full integration with the existing Public Transport (PT) service, linking a business area to the nearby multi-modal public transport Hub (S-trains, high-speed buses, local buses and shared e-bikes).
The Copenhagen Commute test site is a part of the European SHOW project, co-funded by the EU. SHOW has 69 partners from 13 European countries, covering the full urban mobility chain. Show started in 2020 and will conduct real-life urban demonstrations with AVs in 20 cities across Europe during the coming 4 years.
