The objective of the tender is to charter two Walk-to-Work vessels for DONG Energy's German windfarms. One Walk-to-Work vessel for Operations and Maintenance in BKR1 and GOW1+2, and one vessel for construction of the BKR2 windfarm.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement:

The Walk-to-Work vessel will be an integral part of the operation and maintenance setup on the wind farms BKR01 and GOW01+02 located in Germany. Technicians and site management of the wind farm will be operating from the vessel, where minimum 40 technicians will be based on a bi-weekly rotational basis.

The W2W vessel is equipped with a motion compensated gangway system for transferring technicians from the W2W to the TP. Furthermore, the W2W must be equipped with a boat landing and a crane for handling cargo from W2W to a CTV when the CTV is positioned in the W2W's boat landing.

The Scope of Services specifies our requirements for capabilities and capacities of the Walk-to-Work Vessel, including operational requirements. The Walk-to-Work Vessel must have capacity for minimum 40 charterer personnel in single cabins, and be able to transfer personnel and tools/spare parts between the vessel and the wind turbine generators. The Walk-to-Work Vessel must include a crew to operate the vessel. The Walk-to-Work Vessel can both be new built or a conversion of an existing vessel.
