This is a Request for Information (RFI). Danish Defense Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO) plans to tender a Framework Agreement regarding procurement of civil (non-military) spare parts for the main part of the fleet of tactical vehicles of the Danish Defence. As part of the preparation to the tender, DALO would like to request information regarding some specific topics from potential contractors. The purpose of this request is to understand how the best possible tender can be arranged both for DALO and the suppliers according to the EC regulation.

The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) is planning to purchase civil (non-military) spare parts for the main part of the fleet of tactical vehicles of the Danish Defence.

The Framework Agreement covers the purchase of civil (non-military) spare parts for tactical vehicles from the following manufacturers:

— BAE Systems Hägglunds Bandvagn 206D6 (Bv 206),

— General Dynamics European Land Systems-Mowag GmbH Amoured Ambulance (DURO),

— General Dynamics European Land Systems-Mowag GmbH Amoured Patrol Vehicle Eagle IV (Eagle IV),

— BAE Systems Hägglunds CV9035 DK Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV),

— Rheinmetall Land Systems Family Vehicle Leopard 1 BIBER,

— Flensburger Fahrzeugbau WISENT 1 (LEO 1),

— Krauss-Maffei Wegmann Main Battle Tank Leopard 2 (LEO 2),

— Rheinmetall Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nürnberg HX (MAN HX),

— Rheinmetall Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nürnberg SX (MAN SX),

— MAN commercial Trucks,

— Flensburger Fahrzeugbau Armored personnel carrier M113 G3/G4 (M113),

— General Dynamics European Land Systems-Mowag GmbH Piranha 3 (Piranha 3),

Some of the civil spare parts are repairable. Thus, the Framework Agreement includes a service Framework Agreement regarding repair of those spare parts.

The spare parts shall be original spare parts or spare parts of matching quality.

As part of the preparation to the tender DALO would like to request information regarding some specific topics from potential contractors. The purpose of this request is to understand how the best possible tender can be arranged both for DALO and the suppliers according to the EC regulation. DALO would ask potential contractors to review and answer our questions contained in RFI response sheet A available at the address in Section I.3). DALO would like to emphasize that participation in this RFI will not influence your participation in a possible future tender. We ask you to respond in writing. DALO reserves the right to contact specific respondees in regard to further explanation of the answers given, and/or obtaining more information on the basis of the answers. If there is anything that is unclear please contact DALO through ETHICS. When you have filled out the answering sheet please upload it to ETHICS. We ask that you upload us your response no later than the 4.2.2019.
